One Education is a tutoring company that does one thing: science.
Biology, chemistry, and physics are where a lot of strong students suddenly stop being strong. The content stacks fast, the maths sneaks in, and exam questions start asking students to apply ideas rather than repeat them. That’s the moment we’re built for.
Our approach is simple and a little unglamorous: find the real gap, then close it. Most students who are struggling aren’t struggling with this week’s material. They’re struggling with something from a unit or two ago that never got fixed, and every new topic stacks on top of it. So we do both at once — we keep the current grade from sinking while quietly rebuilding what’s underneath.
We work with families all over the world, across every major curriculum. Because we only teach science, every tutor is a specialist in their subject and knows the syllabus your student is actually sitting — whether that’s AP Chemistry, IB Physics HL, A-Level Biology, or a first-year university course.
You’ll always know what’s happening. A short note after every session, a real check-in every month, and a straight answer if we don’t think tutoring is what your student needs. The goal is for your student to not need us anymore — that’s the whole point.

How sessions work
Live, one-on-one, and built around the exact course your student is taking — wherever in the world that is.
Live online
Any country- Live one-on-one video with a shared digital whiteboard you keep a copy of after every session.
- Sessions can be recorded on request so the student can rewatch a tricky explanation.
- All you need is a laptop and a stable connection. A tablet with a stylus helps for chemistry and physics working, but isn't required.
- For students under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian is reachable during sessions.
Matched to the syllabus
Any exam board- Every tutor is a subject specialist — biology, chemistry, or physics — not a generalist.
- We match on curriculum: AP, IB, A-Level, IGCSE, GCSE, national systems, or university courses.
- Sessions use the student's own textbook, past papers, and mark schemes wherever possible.
- Not happy with the match? Tell us and we'll switch tutors, no questions asked.

Daytime slots open up during school holidays. Weekend slots and the weeks before exam season fill first, so ask early if that’s your window.
How scheduling works
- How do I get on the calendar?
- Send the form below or email us with your time zone. We'll reply with two or three consult times in your local time within one business day.
- How quickly can we start?
- Usually within a week. The consult and diagnostic tend to happen in the same week you reach out, with the first real session the week after.
- How do time zones work?
- Every time we send you is in your local time, and calendar invites adjust automatically. Daylight-saving changes are on us to track, not you.
- Do we meet at the same time each week?
- That's the goal — a recurring slot the student can build a routine around. Standing slots are held for you as long as the engagement is active.
- How do I reschedule?
- Email as soon as you know. More than 48 hours out, it's free and we'll find another time that week. Inside 48 hours, the session is billed, though illness and real emergencies never are.
- Will I hear how it's going?
- Yes. A short note after every session covering what we did and what to watch for, plus a longer check-in every month or so. No surprises at report or exam time.
